And ...Glad it works a bit better for you Bangelore. And I didn't know if you had an ATI or Nvidia card, and since Nvidia has a greater market share I just took a guess.

But it doesn't really matter which card you have. Vsync used to be on by default in FSX but it was broken in SP2, so both ATI and Nvidia have to force it on in the driver to make it work now. Worse still it's totally hopeless in DX10, can't even be forced through the driver, and that makes DX10 mode unusable for me sadly. Screen tearing gives me a migraine in minutes. Ugh.

Cheers.Lotus / Ramasurinenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07422721778750968147noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2618051031427024596.post-51905947516541122102008-04-11T15:35:00.000-07:002008-04-11T15:35:00.000-07:00Jet, I'll take my comment back. Didn't know i was one of Lotus' comments.

Lotus: I have FSX and was under (or is it in?) the assumption that I already had my V-sync on 'force on'. But it wasn't. But now it is and it nakes a hell of a difference. Thank you (again). But how do you know I have a nvidia video card?Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2618051031427024596.post-44990201579755859192008-04-04T09:54:00.000-07:002008-04-04T09:54:00.000-07:00That is a very unique header you've put up! If so, yeah the prop will look awful. As for Vsync, just force it on in your nvidia control panel.Lotus / Ramasurinenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07422721778750968147noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2618051031427024596.post-67347284288872335782008-04-03T13:59:00.000-07:002008-04-03T13:59:00.000-07:00Actually, bangelore, I didn't say that, Lotus did....Actually, bangelore, I didn't say that, Lotus did. I'm not sure if that's an improvement or not, just different, but I like it. Though I do like the fact the old one tended to fight with you a bit, it made you work for a good flight. :)Lotus / Ramasurinenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07422721778750968147noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2618051031427024596.post-51235851816793001722008-04-01T12:43:00.000-07:002008-04-01T12:43:00.000-07:00It certainly was a long wait, and it was worth it....It certainly was a long wait, and it was worth it. The only fault I can find in the entire plane is that the back half of it isn't modeled in the VC, and this is something I think should be standard now.

Track-irs are almost a necessity for FSX now and they need to be planned for I'm afraid.

I understand the reasons for it perfectly, and I can overlook it, but I let them know as nicely as I could that including an optional full VC model would be the icing on the cake for this one.

Still it's an incredible machine, one that instantly brought back memories of the insane RTW trip Peb and I did in them a couple years ago.Lotus / Ramasurinenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07422721778750968147noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2618051031427024596.post-76010220544416442912008-04-01T10:37:00.000-07:002008-04-01T10:37:00.000-07:00My fs2004 favourite finally for FSX.
