4... 3... 2... 1...
The Albatros... is... OUT!
This feels like a dream... fifteen months of incredible effort has come to an end. This is the single hardest and most satisfying thing I have ever done. Thanks for all your kind comments and support this past year, and I hope you like the results!
Have a look at the features page items... you're in for some interesting surprises! ;)

You can download the manual before purchase, from the media/extras page.
A seriously huge thanks to Pebble for all the beautiful manual work and Eric Smith for creating one hell of a website.
Also, please note that I will not be providing any product support here on this blog. You're welcome to comment here of course but if you have any questions or issues please ask them only on the LotusSim forums so that I can retain what little sanity I have left!

WAY TO GO Lotus! now go to the Bahamas or something, escape the rest of the accolades ~!^
Hahaha, that sounds really nice. But after all this... the most beautiful thing in the world to me is a full night's sleep. Been a year since I've had one of those.
Thanks. Props for your name too, Badgers are awesome.
Outstanding !
Now take some time off, and we're waiting to get answers to such questions as: What's next ? How the hell those lights work ? etc etc ;P
Now I have a dilemma on my hands... pay for next semester, or buy that plane...
Sweet!
Same day as my birthday, what a present :D
I've gotta get me this especially after visiting the site and seeing some of the other features you kept quiet about :P
PS: Posted this as a news item at Vectors Flight Community
Mike, well it's been 15 or so months myself since I last commented on ur youtube page-but what I must say is that your work is of an unmeasurable quality! It must be heralded IMHO, developers need to get their act together. Such a fantastic product...
Cheers
Diko
PS How did you feed yourself whilst on this ambition?!?
good job man. glad you didnt give up.
haha, the name's courtesy of a BBC article about supposed "man-eating badgers" released by the Brits around Basra, Iraq.

i fell over laughing
Thanks everyone. Sorry I'm a bit slow with responding to my own blog! It's been quite a busy two days and I'm beat.
Thank you all for your support over the past year, and your patience. :)
As for feeding, I have my mom to thank for that actually. Incredibly supportive and a stellar cook!
Thanks for the post Fab.
Badgers rock.
Cheers guys!

That article made my day, thank you for that.
Mike seriously, this is amazing! Been flying it non stop from when it came out! And like when you said a long time ago- i made it for simmers like you, especially the dual cockpit with the training mode thing, ive had fantastic fun flying with hens_sps annoying him. Truly is great.
james_sps (if you still remember me! :P )
Hi James, yes of course I remember you. I'm glad you and Hens like it. I wish I had time to fly more! Should register on the forum if you have a minute, there will a big trip coming up on there in a couple weeks, for registered users.
Cheers man, have fun. :)

YAY!!! Finally!
Does this mean your back to your online flying?
Can't thank you enough for this addon - has raised the bar considerably, especially for VC flying. I always thought Lock-On VCs had something over the FS ones because of the small scratches in the cockpit glass, but you've taken things even further.
Now, what would it take to get you to do a Flanker?
Scotchegg
HEY LOTUS, mind metioning some of the stuff you couldnt get in the plane? features left out bc of time constraints or whatever? if any thanks
Scotchegg, thanks, glad you're diggin it.
Let's see, stuff I couldn't get into the plane... hmm.
Well weapons for starters, anything there is just a hack until that weapons project the swedish gentleman is working on is done. That looks quite impressive. I didn't bother with ejection stuff either, again it seemed a lot of work for not a lot of payoff, at least to me.
Other than that the only stuff that isn't represented are things that don't really apply to FSX, or can't be altered by it. The engine rotation mode selection isn't there, but then that's only for maintenance troubleshooting, pilots don't use it. The pitot tube selector switch, main and backup isn't there either, because as far as I know FSX can only model one pitot tube per aircraft, and same for backup cockpit intercom and Russian helmet pressure gauges, which again have no real application or consequence in FSX.
Aside from those, not much I can think of, I tried to get everything in.

good job lotus.
